At Mutually Unavailable, we specialize in highly customized travel planning services. Due to the personalized and time-intensive nature of our work, planning and consultation fees are non-refundable once services have commenced. We are committed to transparency and fairness and have outlined our policies below for your understanding.
Service Fees
All service fees for travel planning and itinerary design are non-refundable once work has begun. Planning involves significant time, research, and coordination with third-party vendors and partners—regardless of whether the trip is ultimately booked or taken.
Hotel-Only Bookings
Our hotel concierge service is complimentary unless otherwise stated. If a paid hotel curation service is involved, that fee is also non-refundable once recommendations are delivered.
Customized Itineraries & Full-Service Planning
Due to the personalized nature of our offerings, fees for custom travel guides, full itineraries, or group/corporate planning are non-refundable after the initial consultation or delivery of planning materials. Refunds will not be issued for changes of mind, scheduling conflicts, or external travel disruptions.
Travel Provider Cancellations
Any refunds for bookings made with third-party vendors (hotels, tours, transportation, etc.) are subject to their individual cancellation and refund policies. We are happy to assist with communication, but do not control their refund process.
Trip Cancelations
If a trip is canceled after planning has begun, your fee is still non-refundable. We highly recommend travel insurance to protect your investment against unforeseen changes.
Discretionary Exceptions
Generally speaking, a Refund Policy often addresses these types of issues: the timeframe for asking for a refund; will the refund be full or partial; under which conditions will the customer receive a refund; and much, much more.
